Sunnyside Kits is excited to offer the Express Coal Car STEM building project. This is a quality build-it-yourself wooden coal car kit intended for children 3+ years of age. Allow your child the satisfaction of building this high-quality coal car with parental assistance. The assembly process promotes confidence and fulfillment by allowing the child to learn what it means to assist in building something.
Kit includes 26 solid wood parts, 4 nylon washers, sandpaper and a step-by-step instruction manual with QR codes for animation of each step. Your creativity will shine with your own choice of finish. Products for finish (paint, stain, polyurethane, etc. are not included.) Finished coal car overall dimensions are approximately 10 7/16" long x 5 5/8" wide x 5 1/8" high. Safety glasses, a file and a clamp (or a weighted item to help hold in place while glue sets) are required to complete the kit.
